We started this company in 2020 right here in Houston, and nights like tonight are exactly why we love what we do: homes full of people, candy wrappers on every surface, and a little bit of controlled chaos that's completely worth it. Whether you're handing out candy on your porch, hosting a small gathering, or just trying to keep the house in one piece between trick-or-treater waves, we wanted to pass along a few of our favorite quick tricks.

The Static Cling Trick

If anyone in your house is wrestling with a costume that won't stop clinging with static, a dryer sheet rubbed lightly over the fabric calms it down almost instantly. Keep one in a kitchen drawer tonight and you'll save someone a frustrating five minutes before they head out the door.

The Glitter Problem

Face paint and costume glitter have a way of ending up everywhere except where they started. A lint roller works faster than a vacuum for glitter on couch cushions, car seats, and costumes themselves, and it's a lot gentler on fabric too.

The Cauldron Bowl Trick

If your candy bowl or decorative cauldron starts smelling like plastic or picks up a sticky film from candy residue, a little baking soda dissolved in warm water rinses it clean without leaving any chemical smell behind, which matters if it's going right back out with candy in it.
